Induction Dinner Postponed Until Summer of 2022

YORKTON, Sask. - The Ted Knight Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame (SHHOF) along with this year’s host committee for the Induction Dinner in Yorkton have made the decision to once again postpone the event which was scheduled for July 24th, 2021 at the Yorkton Curling Rink.

This is the second postponement announcement for the dinner that was originally set to take place in the summer of 2020. The factors which ultimately lead to this decision were much in the same, concerns over the current COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty surrounding public health measures including travel.

The Induction Dinner which is sponsored by SaskTel had previously announced its class of inductees back on February 28th, 2020. Those selected will carry forward along with the host community of Yorkton for the 2022 event. The date that has been selected for the Ted Knight Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Dinner presented by SaskTel is July 22, 2022.

The seven (7) inductees and two (2) teams that were previously announced are as follows;

Player Category Kelly Buchberger
Clifford "Cliff" Koroll

The Ted Knight Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame opened its doors in 2012 alongside Saskatchewan Hockey Association’s 100th year celebration. The location of the SHHOF is in Swift Current at the Credit Union iplex.
